Notes on Bike Tune Ups

Required tools:

• Dish soap
• Garden hose
• Drivetrain degreaser
• Bike cleaning brush set
• Rags
• Bike pump

Step 1

• Clean and degrease the frame with water
• Wash the bike from top to bottom, leave the drivetrain last
• With a drivetrain degreaser, take the brush and scrub the cassette and chain

Step 2

• Check the brakes

Step 3

• Clean and lube the chain
• Avoid slathering the chain in lube
